Wednesday 13th May 2020

Good morning,

Yay!! We can go out and sun-bake in the park – I for one am so excited since I don’t have a garden. Just remember  sunscreen when you go please.

The answers for yesterday’s mind-boggling mysteries are:

Off the beaten track: The policeman followed bicycle tracks and was interested in the car with the bike rack.

Reading you like a book: I read his lips. The man was talking to himself as he was writing, and I assumed he was speaking the words he was writing.

Here are the guided reading answers for yesterday:

Guided Reading-Answers

Let’s dive right into today’s learning.

We are going to keep with the Guided-Reading Theme of Submerged City.  Today, I would like you to imagine you are in the middle of the chaos caused by this creature from the sea.  You can choose to either write a creative story based around the ‘story starters’ and ‘questions’ OR a newspaper article (challenge yourself and write a broadcast script – similar to one you read last week in Guided Reading) on the events you witness.
