Good morning little ones!

Hope you are all well and ready for some learning. Please see below for today's activities.

Today we want the children to listen for one minute.

Adults perhaps you have an egg timer at home or  you coud show your child how the second hand moves around the clock?

Alternatively you could use the timer on your phone.

Ask your child what sounds they could over the minute?

Does the noise level vary between each room in you house?

How many socks can you find?

How many socks long are you?

How many pairs of socks can you find?

How many odd socks?

Can you count in two’s?

Today's task is for you to create some Nursery Rhyme sticks.

First think of your favourite nursey rhyme.

Draw a picture from the rhyme.

Glue the picture onto your stick.

You can make as many of these as you like - one for each different nursery rfyhme you know perhaps?

For example I would  draw a star for 'twinkle twinkle little star.'

A spider for 'incey wincy Spider'

A clock for 'Hickory dickory dock'

Once you have finished, you can choose a different stick and sing the rhyme it represents.
