I hope you all had a lovely weekend and are ready for another week of learning. 

Below you will find the activities for your home learning today. 

 

MATHS

Watch the video on today's theme:  Summer Week 9:  Lesson 2 on 'Partitioning Numbers'

Then click on BBC Bitesize next to the video and click on your year group tab to access your work for today. 

Please remember you can rewatch the video as many times as you need to and you can go back to it when you are answering the questions.

For your literacy this week we will be working through a new 'Talk4writing' pack called Brian Bear's Picnic by Alison Cooper. 

I hope you have all now read the story on the first few pages.  If not, read it today.  Then work through two new pages of activities.   We will continue to work through these each day of the week.

Here is another link for an interesting project for the London Maths week.  

Tower challenge Take ten A4 pieces of paper. Doesn’t matter what is on them – dig out the recycling!

Using any folding or rolling technique you like, make the tallest tower you can.

No other resources are allowed and it must be freestanding!

This week we will continue  listening to the audio story - Zero G by Dan Wells

Click on the link below to continue listening.  Try to listen to 2 chapters each day.   

Then you can discuss them and retell the story so far to someone else in your family.

LANGUAGES - SPANISH

In this lesson we will recap our previous Spanish lesson, then learn how to describe our hair and eye colour in Spanish! For this lesson you will need some paper, a pen or pencil to write with and some colouring pencils to draw.
