Monday 4th May (May the 4th be with you)

Hello Everyone hope you had a lovely weekend and are ready for this week's home learning.

For Maths today I am going to ask you to attempt to make a telephone key pad.

Please note the example I have given is using paper plates but this can be drawn on a piece paper.

Your child can count or recognise written numbers by pointing to the number you call out.

You could also learn important numbers such as emergency numbers for example 999 or 111

Practise making these calls in case of emergency.

I would like to focus on reading skills this week

Look at the picture above. There are weather words hidden within this picture (rain.puddle)

  • How many can you find?
  • What could the people be saying?
  • What is the weather like today?
  • What do we wear and use to keep us dry on a rainy day?

To finish why not sing your favourite song with your child

Cick on the image below to go straight to a song you can practise.
