Monday 27th April 2020

I hope you had a lovely weekend!

This week in phonics we are are looking at rhythm and rhyme so each day I will post

a different poem or rhyming story for you to enjoy.

Today's story is Where's my Teddy by Jez Alborough

WHERE'S MY TEDDY

  • Where's my Teddy?
  • Have you ever lost your favourite Teddy?
  • Can think of a word that rhymes with teddy?
  • What would you do if you found a giant teddy like Eddy?

Maths

Today we will try and count by having a Teddy bear's picnic.

Resources: Tea party essentials such as cutlery, crockery, and guests (toys, teddys or other members of your family)

Adults ask your child to pick up a specific amount of items to prepare for the tea party.

E.g Can you find  5 plates? or 3 spoons?
