Switch on those brains ready for today’s learning.
This week we will be doing another Talk4Writing booklet. The booklet – The Cave of Requirement – is set for year 6 and 7 but I am positive you will be able to keep up.
Today please read through ‘introduction’, you do not need to write down the answers to the questions asked- just think about them.
You will need to complete “The introduction” activities (page 7 – 10). There is a large amount of ground work to be done in this section but it will be worth it later on.

Additionally, Talk4Writing is offer a presentation ever weekday morning at 9.30am RadioBlogging.net This is a free internet literacy radio show aimed at KS2 that includes language games, creative writing and guest input from famous authors such as Frank Cottrell-Boyce. The programmes are interactive – You will have an opportunity to write during the programme and afterwards. All of the shows that have been broadcast are available to listen back to online at
Since there is a lot to complete this week in literacy, we will keep Reading Comprehension short and sweet each day.

Below you will find a selection of Maths related tasks for you to complete today. Please complete Summer term – Week 5, lesson 1 – multiplying and dividing by 10, 100, 100. This is revision for you so should be quite straight forward. You will need to click on the BBC Revisewise link next to the video then choose Year 6 to access your work.
Once you have finished that login to Mathletics.
