Friday 24th April 2020

Happy Friyay,

SumDog Contest starts today!! YAY!!!

I think we are in it to win this time round or at least beat the year 4 class.

So make sure you logon and complete all the sums!

I think the answers from yesterday’s mysteries were easy.

Today I won’t include any mind-boggling mysteries because I’m sure you will all use that time logging onto SumDog Contest!

Answers to the Mind-boggling mysteries are:

  1. Spotless:  A motorcycle was parked on one side of his parking spot, but he still had plenty of room to park his motorcycle too.
  2. Undisturbed: The maid wouldn’t be able to get into her room because she’d locked her door with the deadbolt and exited through her friend’s adjoining room.

Ready for some more fun-filled learning!

Literacy:

I hope you have let your imagination run while with your character – I am looking forward to meeting them when I read your story.

We will be continuing the booklet called “Doors – the world of possibilities.” Today, I would like you to focus on just activity 9.  Planning is key to a good portal story!  Think about all the elements you have learnt during the other eight activities and apply these to your plan.  Use a story mountain to help you plan.
