      House Points

Here at St John the Divine we operate a House Point System. Children  receive house points for demonstrating our school values as well as for their attitude to learning.
Each house is named after a significant leader in a variety of fields such as science, culture or politics, chosen by the children in our school and the table below shows the number of house points received by each house; the table is updated regularly .
If you want to find out more about our House Point Leaders and how the children decided on who would represent them, go to our House Points page.

Tokens last added - Week ending 20th December 2019

Congratulations to all in Dickens - our 2018-2019 house point winners. A special treat awaits you on your return to school in September.

Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools

As a church school we are also inspected under the Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools (SIAMS) schedule.

On Friday 13th July 2018  we were inspected and I am pleased to report that we were judged as Outstanding in the inspection, in all four core areas.

Click on the link below to read the report.

On September 14th and September 15th 2016 we were inspected by OFSTED. Two Inspectors visited our school, spoke with children, observed lessons and carefully considered school documentation, policies and procedures. At the end of the Inspection we were awarded a Good rating in all areas.

St John the DIvine is a school where 'all staff expect the most for their pupils, themselves and the school' and the Early Years Foundation Stage is a 'vibrant place for learning with a buzzing atmosphere, providing a rewarding and a wonderful starting point for school life.'
